Day 1: VIENTIANE – arrival
Meet upon arrival, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Vat Sisaket, the only original temple in Vientiane (built in 1818, it is the sole survivor of a Thai invasion in 1828), the Ho Phrakeo, the former Royal Chapel where was enshrined an Emerald Buddha at the early time of the Lane Xang Kingdom, the Patouxai and That Luang stupa. Overnight in Vientian.
Day 2: VIENTIANE / LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Luang Prabang. Meet upon arrival at the airport, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum (former King’s Palace) displaying a collection of personal artifacts of the Royal Family. Continue to visit the nearby Vat Mai temple, which was the residence of a Buddhist patriarch before 1975. And then enjoy sunset along the Mekong River at Vat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: LUANG PRABANG/ PAK OU/ LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, visit Vat Xieng Thong, considered as the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang with roofs that sweep low to the ground. Then take a traditional riverboat for a 2-hour cruise upstream the Mekong River towards Pak Ou, at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, to visit the sacred caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phum, home to hundreds of Buddha statues.
On the way, stop at Ban Xang Hai village where sticky rice wine distillation can be seen. Return to Luang Prabang and continue by car to visit the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong where traditional Sa paper is also produced. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 4: LUANG PRABANG/ KHOUANG SY/ LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, excursion by car to the beautiful waterfalls of Khouang Sy nestled in the lush tropical vegetation. On the way, visit some hill tribes’ villages such as the H’Mong village of Ban Thinkeo, the Khmu village of Ban Thapaene and the Lao Loum village of Ban Xom, known for its cotton production.
Return to Luang Prabang and stroll through the H’Mong Market before climbing Phousi Hill to enjoy sunset over the former Royal capital and the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 5: LUANG PRABANG – SIEM REAP
After breakfast, time at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Siem Reap. Welcome at airport then transfer to hotel for check in. Visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon temple complex, Leper King & Elephant Terrace. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Angkor Wat temple & Bakheng mountain. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6: ANGKOR WAT/ Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to visit Banteay Srey and Banteay Samrč temples. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Preah Rup & Taprohm temple. Dinner with Classical Dance Show at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7: ANGKOR WAT/ Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Rolous Group: Bakong, Prah ko, and Lolei temples. Lunch at local restaurant. Excursion to visit Tonle Sap Lake , and enjoy 1 hour boat trip to visit Floating & Fishing villages. Dinner & stay at the hotel.
Day 8: SIEM REAP – PHNOM PENH
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure from Siem reap to Phnom Penh by overland on the way visit Naga Bridge built in 12th Century by Jayavarman 7th. Lunch at local restaurant in Kampong Thom province, then continue to Phnom Penh, on the way have one more stop to visit Prasat Kuh Nokor.
It is 79km from Kg.Thom province, and in a distance of 2 km gate from National road No.6 Check in Hotel in Phnom Penh. Dinner & Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 9: PHNOM PENH – CHAU DOC
Breakfast at hotel.
Visit Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda & National museum of Fine Arts. Transfer to Phnom Penh Pier for departure by Boat to Chau Doc - Vietnam. Arrive in Chau Doc in the afternoon by express boat from Phnom Penh. Meeting with our guide to fix the next day program.
Overnight in Chau Doc.
Day 10: CHAU DOC / HO CHI MINH CITY
After breakfast, travel through a fascinating floating village where fish are bred in their natural environment and learn more about Cham culture as you visit one of their villages and its mosque. Depart to Ho Chi Minh City by road via Cao Lanh. Arrive in Ho Chi Minh City in the evening. Meet upon arrival, check-in at your hotel. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.
Day 11: PHNOM PENH / DEPARTURE (B)
After breakfast, explore the Old Colonial Residential Quarter which includes the Hotel de Ville, Opera House, Central Post Office and the elegant 19th century Notre-Dame Cathedral as well as the Reunification Palace and the War Remnants Museum. Time at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
