Day 1: ARRIVAL-HANOI
On arrival, welcome by your guide at the airport and transfer to your selected hotel. After breakfast, spend a full day touring the capital and visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Mondays), his former stilt house residence, One Pillar Pagoda, Quanh Thanh and Tran Quoc Pagodas, Temple of Literature and Ethnology Museum.
Lunch at local restaurant In the afternoon visit the History Museum and discover Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and enjoy a cyclo (rickshaw) tour around the vibrant Old Quarter with its narrow streets and shops. Early in the evening enjoy a traditional water puppet show. Dinner at local restaurant & Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: HANOI/ HOA LU/ TAM COC/ HANOI
In the morning, after having breakfast at the hotel, transfer through the countryside to Hoa Lu, the ancient 10th century capital of Vietnam. On arrival visit Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh Dynastic temples and then continue to Van Lam village for lunch in a local restaurant.
In the afternoon board a small sampan for a spectacular 3-hour cruise through numerous waterways and beautiful rural landscape of limestone cliffs and rice paddies to the stunning Tam Coc caves.Discover Bich Dong Pagoda before returning to Hanoi in the late afternoon. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 3: HANOI/ HALONG
After an early breakfast at the hotel we transfer by road to majestic Halong Bay. On arrival, board a private boat for a 5-hour cruise through mystical Halong Bay and admire one of the natural marvels of Vietnam. Visit islets, caves and, weather permitting enjoy a swim into the clear waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. A delicious seafood lunch will be served on board. Dinner & Overnight at hotel in Ha Long.
Day 4:HALONG/ HANOI/ HUE
After breakfast, transfer to the airport in Hanoi for flight to Hue. Arrive Hue, transfer to the selected hotel In the afternoon, discover the Imperial Citadel, Emperor Tu Duc and Emperor Khai Dinh’s mausoleums. Stop on the way to see how conical hats and incense sticks are made. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: HUE/ DANANG/ HOI AN
After breakfast, take a boat for a cruise on the gentle Perfume River to the seven – storey Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank. Continue by ca and visit Emperor Minh Mang’s Mausoleum. Afternoon, transfer to Danang via the Hai Van Pass and through the picturesque fishing village of Lang Co. On arrival visit the Cham Museum and continue to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: HOI AN/ MY SON/ HOI AN
After breakfast, drive to My Son, the ancient kingdom of Champa and spend the morning touring Vietnam’s most important Cham ruins (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Return to Hoi An beginning of the afternoon and visit the Ancient town of Hoi An, which was an important trading port during the 17th and 18th centuries and which, now is officially A UNESCO World Heritage site.
Take a walking tour round Hoi An ancient town and explore its treasures including the Japanese covered bridge, Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung Old Merchant House, Quang Dong Assembly Hall. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: HOI AN/ DANANG/ HO CHI MINH CITY
Transfer to Danang Airport for your morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, transfer to your selected hotel. In the same morning, discover bustling Saigon: Enjoy a tour in the Old Colonial Residential Quarter with the old Hotel de Ville, the Opera House, the 19th century Notre-Dame Cathedral, the beautiful Central Post Office and the more modern Reunification Palace (outside).
In the afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum and continue to Cho Lon and the bustling Binh Tay Market. Finally, end the day with a visit to Vinh Nghiem Pagoda and a lacquer ware factory. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 8: HO CHI MINH CITY/ SIEM REAP
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Siem Reap/Angkor Wat. Arrival to Siem Reap airport, welcome and transfer to check in your selected hotel. Visit South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon temple complex, Leper King & Elephant Terrace. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Angkor Wat temple & Bakheng mountain. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 9: ANGKOR WAT/Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to visit Banteay Srey and Banteay Samrč temples. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Preah Khan, Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon, Preah Rup & Taprohm temple. Dinner with Classical Dance Show at local restaurant. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: ANGKOR WAT/ Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel.
Visit Rolous Group: Bakong, Prah ko, and Lolei temples. Lunch at local restaurant. Excursion to visit Tonle Sap Lake , and enjoy 1 hour boat trip to visit Floating & Fishing villages. Dinner & stay at the hotel.
Day 11: SIEM REAP – VIENTIAN
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to airport for departure flight to Vientian. Meet upon arrival, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Vat Sisaket, the only original temple in Vientiane (built in 1818, it is the sole survivor of a Thai invasion in 1828), the Ho Phrakeo, the former Royal Chapel where was enshrined an Emerald Buddha at the early time of the Lane Xang Kingdom, the Patouxai and That Luang stupa. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 12: VIENTIANE/ LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take your flight to Luang Prabang. Meet upon arrival at the airport, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit the National Museum (former King’s Palace) displaying a collection of personal artifacts of the Royal Family.
Continue to visit the nearby Vat Mai temple, which was the residence of a Buddhist patriarch before 1975. And then enjoy sunset along the Mekong River at Vat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 13: LUANG PRABANG/ PAK OU/ LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, visit Vat Xieng Thong, considered as the most beautiful temple of Luang Prabang with roofs that sweep low to the ground. Then take a traditional riverboat for a 2-hour cruise upstream the Mekong River towards Pak Ou, at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, to visit the sacred caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phum, home to hundreds of Buddha statues.
On the way, stop at Ban Xang Hai village where sticky rice wine distillation can be seen. Return to Luang Prabang and continue by car to visit the weaving village of Ban Xang Khong where traditional Sa paper is also produced. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 14: LUANG PRABANG/ KHOUANG SY/ LUANG PRABANG
After breakfast, excursion by car to the beautiful waterfalls of Khouang Sy nestled in the lush tropical vegetation. On the way, visit some hill tribes’ villages such as the H’Mong village of Ban Thinkeo, the Khmu village of Ban Thapaene and the Lao Loum village of Ban Xom, known for its cotton production.
Return to Luang Prabang and stroll through the H’Mong Market before climbing Phousi Hill to enjoy sunset over the former Royal capital and the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 15: LUANG PRABANG – Departure
After breakfast, time at leisure until your transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
